ACS主要有4种评估类型

Temporary Graduate，
Post Australian Study Skills Assessment，
技能类Skills Assessment，
RPL类Recognition of Prior Learning。

不同类型的评估要求也不同。

1.Temporary Graduate ： 485 Assessment 需要完成澳洲本科或以上计算机方面的学历（必须有澳洲学历），而且此类职业评估只能用来申请485签证（只有在SOL 上的职业才能申请485签证）

2. Post Australian Study Skills Assessment 需要完成澳洲本科或以上学历（必须有澳洲学历），并且需要1年的相关工作经验（澳洲或者海外工作经验都可以）或者ACS职业年(ACS Professional Year)，此类职业评估可以用来申请永久居民签证。

1）本科以及以上学历（研究生学历，博士）

主修ICT且专业和职业高度相关，需减去过去10年内完成的2年工作经验来达到要求（例：毕业后工作3年，但ACS会减去2年，只承认1年的工作经验）或者任意时间段完成的4年工作经验。如果主修ICT专业但职业不高度相关，减任意时间段完成的4年工作经验。
2．辅修ICT （BachelorDegree or Higher with an ICT Minor）
辅修ICT，专业和职业高度相关，需减去过去10年内完成的5年工作经验来满足ACS的要求或者任意时间段完成的6年工作经验。非ICT专业，减任意时间段完成的6年工作经验。

2）非学位的学历（Diploma）与资格证书（如专科学历）Diplomaand Vendor Certification专科学历，主修ICT：专业和职业高度相关，减去过去10年中完成的工作经验5年或者任意时间段6年.
专科学历，主修ICT: 专业和职业不高度相关，减去任意时间段的6年3）非ICT相关的学历或者学位：扣减6年，并需要RPL项目报告。

3）没有正规学历（Non ICT Diploma or Higher）
专科学历，专业与ICT无关，需减去任意时间段6年的工作经验，另需要Recognition of Prior Learning（RPL）。

4）Work Experience Only –Recognition of Prior Learning
没有正规学历，需减去任意时间段8年的工作经验，另需要RPL。

注意：ACS提名，有效年限从既满足工作要求又满足学历要求最早的那一点开始计算。比如申请人03-08年工作，09年获得了计算机ICT Major学位，则有效的工作年限从09年获得学位后开始计时。
对于获得澳洲ICT major学历的，用于申请永居签证的话，需1年提名职业相关工作经验才可以申请职业评估。但是有效的年限从澳洲学历获得后就开始计算了，也就是不扣减年限。其他国家学历都需要根据以上规则减工作年限。

ACS 主修（Major）、辅修（Minor)及非ICT(Non-ICT Qualification )学历的界定

1.Major

1) 对于学历(非学位)获得者须有至少50%的ICT课程-（比如总科目为30门，需至少15门是ICT相关的课程）可以认定为Major
2) 对于本科学位获得者（ICT课程需每个学习年度都有，最后一年是高级水平）可以认定为Major
– 3年学制的课程需至少有33%的ICT课程
– 4年学制的课程需至少有25%的ICT课程
– 5年学制的课程需至少有20%的ICT课程
3) 对于硕士学历、学位（不要求本科是ICT major的），需满足至少1年半的全日制学习以及以下条件可以认定为Major
– 至少1年全日制ICT课程的学习；
– 至少12门课程（澳洲境外的可以稍微少些）；
– 2年制的硕士至少50%的ICT课程；
– 3年制的硕士需不低于33%的ICT课程。
4) 对于硕士学历、学位（要求本科是ICT Major的）需有不低于33%的ICT课程，可以认定为Major

2.对于至少达到Major ICT课程比例的2/3 才可以算作Minor

3.少于Minor比例的归为Non-ICT学历

4.所有的major/Minor需有65%的ICT课程和提名职业高度相关才可以。
