澳洲教育制度简介
1. 小学教育
小学教育在澳洲是6到7年，大部份就读于公立学校，约有30%就读于私立学校。大部份的公
立学校是男女合校，但是有很多的私立学校有男女分校和有宿舍。私立学校在入学申请时的选
择非常严格，通常要求学生参加入学测试。小学通常会设有英语/数学/社会科学/艺术和保健
等科目。
2. 中学教育(初中/高中)
澳洲的国民义务教育到15岁，约10年级结束。全部的高中课程在12年级结束，学生参加毕
业考试，可以获得高中毕业文凭。根据学生的成绩，申请科系和学校的名额来决定是否可以进
入大学学习。在中学教育初期，学生要修的基本科目有英文/数学/科学/体育/计算机/历史和
地理等。升入高年级以后，学生可以依个人兴趣专注特定课程的学习。
3. 大学预科课程
大学预科课程通常为一年，其目的是为了帮助海外中学毕业生或高中考试不很理想的学生顺利
的进入澳洲大学学习。预科课程没有公开考试，有些完成11年级的学生以后就可以申请。完
成预科课程的学习，一般会确保海外学生进入大学。学习预科课程的学生已经要根据自己的发
展来选择课程如：商学，科学和设计等。
4. 大学
澳洲有近40所大学分布于全澳，大学中有各类科系的本科和研究生课程。本科学期为3到6
年，其中文/商/理科为3年，工科为4年，法律为4到5年，医科则为6年。硕士研究生课程
一般为1年半到2年。澳洲各大学根据各类职业和需求在学院内建立了不同的课程并从事广泛
的研究，并提供学士学位，研究生文凭，研究生学位和博士生学位等。
5. TAFE和私立商业/专科学院
TAFE是公立的专科学院，其课程多以实践为主，目的在于工作技能的培训，并提供各类课程
的文凭和证书。私立的商校和专科学院一样提供学生毕业文凭和证书，学校课程的种类繁多，
有不同的入学要求和课程安排。文凭课程通常在1年到2年，证书课程一般在12至30周之
间。专科学院和商校的课程和大学方面有相当程度的配合，如学生在完成专科的文凭后想进入
大学进一步深造，通常已经修完的学分会得到大学的认可，缩短了在大学学习的时间。
6. ELICOS英语课程
非英语国家的海外学生如果要在澳洲就学，必须达到相应的英语水平，由此产生了为数众多的
英语专科学院。为海外学生设置的英语课程分为：普通英语，专业英语(学习目的或商业目
的)，考试预备课程(TOEFL/IELTS等)，假期课程(适合游学学生和旅游及商务签证的人士)。
