墨尔本留学移民 澳洲统计局：有移民家庭背景的孩子 成绩更优秀

澳洲统计局(ABS)于前日首度公布澳洲学生家庭的社会经济地位对其全国读写算术统考(NAPLAN)成绩的影响。报告显示，移民家庭子女的NAPLAN成绩平均要高于澳洲本土家庭出身考生的成绩。


移民家庭子女成绩更高
《悉尼晨锋报》报道，NAPLAN考生中如果父母有一位是在海外出生的话，那么其子女的考试成绩平均要高于父母双方均在澳洲本土出生的考生成绩。此外，如果考生的父母均在职场工作的话，那么考生的成绩平均要比失业家庭考生的成绩要高。
另据了解，报告还显示，家庭关系的稳定对孩子成绩也有很大的影响。例如，登记结婚的父母，其子女的NAPLAN成绩实际上要比同居父母所生子女的成绩要高。
此外，报告还显示，家庭子女数量越多，其子女平均成绩就越容易低于国家考试标准。然而，独生子女家庭考生的成绩要略低于拥有两个子女的家庭。
另据了解，以昆州大城市中的考生为例，城市考生的平均阅读成绩要高于居住在乡村的考生成绩。同时，家中有互联网的考生阅读成绩平均要高于家中没有互联网考生的成绩。此外，昆州女生的读写成绩要比男生高；但男女生的算术成绩却基本持平。
对此，该报告分析称：“如果国家不对考生进行学习目标干预的话，那么低于国家考试标准的考生的学习进展将不能令人满意。”值得一提的是，报告显示，尽管今年3年级及5年级学生的NAPLAN成绩有小幅度提升，但高年级学生的写作能力却出现下降。
联邦正努力缩小教育差距
澳洲教育研究委员会(ACER)负责人玛斯特(Geoff Masters)称，澳洲学生家庭的社会经济地位对其成绩有很大影响。“我们知道，澳洲学校的差距正在变大而不是在缩小。但有些经合组织成员国(OECD)不仅在考虑提高学生的整体成绩，而且还在努力缩小学生社会经济地位对其成绩的影响。与此同时，澳洲也应该努力缩小学生社会经济地位对其成绩的影响。”
玛斯特教授指出，澳洲应该对NAPLAN考试引入7年以来，考生成绩没有明显改善这种现象引起重视。“我们应该对15岁年龄组考生读写算术成绩的下滑引起重视，而其他一些OECD国家考生的成绩却在提高。我认为，我们是经合组织成员国中考试成绩唯一退步的教育大国。”
